Tim is a qualified tax consultant, a fellow member of CTA and member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Tim has over 50 years of experience in tax, having started his career with the Inland Revenue in 1972 as Inspector of Taxes, moving on to private practice in 1987. For some years he used to lecture on non-domicile taxation.

Tim has been advising the firm’s clients for over 10 years and became a consultant in 2020. He has specialist knowledge in trusts and foreign domiciled individuals. He advises a wide range of clients on any tax relates issue, including high net worth individuals, tax structures involving property in the UK, inheritance tax, capital gains tax and income tax.
